Fluorpen
The Fluorpen hand held unit is a model that can provide numerical outputs from spot measurements on plant leaves that have been stressed in some manner (biological, physical or chemical). It can typically record quantum yield (Fv/Fm), fluorescence decline (Rfd), non-photosynthetic quenching (NPQ) and OJIP. This data is initially stored in the Fluorpen, then downloaded to a computer. The Fluorpen comes in several different versions capable of being used on flat surfaces, with a leaf clip and a cell for aqueous samples (algal determinations).
